- Perform DPR Analysis.
- Monitor for invoicing milestone accomplishment. In general, together with the Contract Manager if needed, to ensure that all deadlines and conditions described on contracts with reference to payment milestones and similar commercial aspects of the project are met.
- Monitor payment of invoices and liaise directly with clients to ensure payment in a timely manner.
- Report/forecast and monitor incoming cash and expenses per project as well as on portfolio level. The Cost Control Engineer shall compare the forecast of tender phase with the actual financial results of the project and ensure that valuable feedback is conveyed back to the Proposals team for the improvement of future offers.
- Consult with Cost Control Manager and Commercial Proposal Manager to define project’s budget and profitability based on company’s target. Thereafter, monitor and report expenses versus budget and profitability.
- Senior Cost Control Engineers to act as Commercial Managers as a member of the project team.
- Analyze project designed solution with an eye toward reducing costs and increasing profits.
- Advise the project team on any aspects of project costs which deviate from the budget of the project.
- Provide the necessary commercial input for the draft of commercial claims, change orders or potential serious disputes.
- A higher university degree in Engineering;
- 3-5 years experience in the construction industry or/and in supply chain management;
- Experience of working with subcontractors and suppliers will be a plus;
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills;
- Clear and effective oral and written communication skills in English language;
- Additional working knowledge of other foreign languages, (e.g. Italian, German, French etc.) are not prerequisite but are to be considered as extra skills;
