- Ensure thatall reservation request is attended and handled as per the company's standardsand procedures; maintain confidentiality of guests' information
- Ensurecustomer satisfaction throughout the reservation experience
- Applyupselling techniques at all time
- Process payments and confirmarrangements concerning individual guests or travel agents over the phone, by email, on line and in person
- Maintain goodrelations with agents, companies and regular guests
- Reviewreservation booked daily; Resolve unexpected overbookingsituations
- Create and maintain reservationrecords, order material supplies and all necessary hotel documents
- Communicate reservationinformation (cancellations and modifications) to the Front Desk and followcompany's policy for no shows
- Ensure special handling of repeatsguest and very VIP guest
- Handle allguest complaints and comments relating to the department tactfully
- Coordinate andcommunicate with all departments (Operations, Finance and Housekeeping) to ensure a smooth operation
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in asimilar position in the luxury hospitality industry or in any other customerrelations or sales department
- Excellent knowledge of Englishlanguage; a second language would be a plus
- Computer literacy and experiencein Opera / Fidelio programs
- Maintain at all times a highstandard of personal appearance and hygiene
- Strong customer service andcommunication skills, detail oriented and a problem solving person
- BA in Tourism would be preferred
