- Perform bank reconciliations
- Fund accounting for Government Funds
- Manage accounts receivable
- Reconcile revenue reports to general ledger
- Management accounts payable
- Prepare accrual schedules
- Prepare prepaid schedules
- Fixed Asset Accounting
- Accounting for Operating and Capital leases
- Payroll accounting
- Prepare information requested by auditors (samples, schedules and extracts from the accounting software)
- Prepare management Accounts
- Variance analyses
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field Advantageous
- SAICA articles Advantageous
- Experience with Bank Reconciliations
- Experience with Financial Statements advantageous
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, working in public practice (an accounting firm)
- Attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Accounting software
