Our professional team in Athens, Greece is looking for a Manager of Marine & Aviation Department to join the Marine & Aviation Team of Brokers in our company, work closely with our subject matter experts and develop her/his career. Responsibilities Manage the portfolio of Marine & Aviation accounts to maintain the book of business and ensure quality of service Assess new risks, analyze all available information, and reflect the risk profile of placements as appropriately Lead the negotiations of renewals for the Marine & Aviation contracts and review terms where necessary Build, maintain and develop trusted relationships within the broad reinsurance market of Marine & Aviation (reinsurers, cedants and other stakeholders involved) Provide guidance and support to a team of brokers in the Marine & Aviation Department to ensure a high level of engagement and productivity Adopts a high standard of professionalism and ethical behavior in all working activities Qualifications Working experience of at least 3-5 years in the Marine & Aviation field, preferably in the Insurance/Reinsurance Sector University degree of any background (preferably with a business or technical orientation) Fluency in English is essential (Arabic language is considered a plus) Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) Strong interpersonal skills and focus on customer Ability to negotiate and resolve issues in challenging and complex situations Action orientation and drive for results Cross-cultural agility in a diverse environment Integrity and character within a professional setting
