- Prepare, review, and manage RFP, RFQ, CDA, MSA, LOI, Scope of Work agreements, Equipment Loan agreements
- Lead the negotiation and execution of the Manufacturing and Supply Agreements (MSAs) for CMOs’ commercial product and structure such contracts in an optimal manner to ensure the security of long-term supply and the protection of the business
- Drive best procurement practices to ensure robust negotiations and cost control processes, ensuring the continued supply of competitively priced products for the business
- Lead RFP and RFQ activities to develop robust sourcing plans in alignment with the Supply Chain Strategy
- Identify contractual risks and suggest potential solutions with input from relevant stakeholders
- Manage processes that identify and minimize the impact of contractual issues and pricing discrepancies
- Lead monitoring and maintaining pricing, compliance, and incentive maintenance activities
- Maintain calendar and matrix of bids/offers and coordinate communication of contract development and execution status
- Facilitate the transition of executed contracts to the appropriate operational team for implementation and/or adjudication, including outlining key terms and providing detailed explanations, as necessary
- Contribute to due diligence evaluation and advice on new sourcing and external manufacturing business opportunities in partnership with the Business Development team, benchmarking for alternative CMOs and maintain in-depth understanding of the CMO’s systems, capabilities, capacities, requirements, and practices
- He/she is accountable for CMOs Business Continuity Risk Assessment
- Contribute to development of operational budgets and Capex evaluation for the CMO network and ensure alignment with external manufacturing's goals and objectives
- Collaborate with Finance for product cost standards, variances
- Collaborate with Finance, Supply and Business Development to identify opportunities for improvement that are essential in building long term growth to CMO network from pricing and profitability standpoint
- Develop, monitor, review of financial KPIs for the CMO network
- Bachelor/Master in Business, Finance, Supply Chain
- At least 5 years of experience in contracts management and pricing
- Proven experience with toll and contract manufacturing service
- In-depth knowledge of financial metrics and KPIs
- In-depth knowledge of Supply Chain, Quality and Regulatory operations in a GMP environment
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong ability to manage information and input from several functions and sources
- Extensive experience in project leadership skills and ability to develop effective working processes and relationships with internal/external partners
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and mitigate risks
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Excellent communication in English language (writing and speaking)
- Independently motivated with the ability to navigate and be successful in a fast‐paced, matrixed work environment
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
