Contract: PermanentABOUT YOUR NEW JOB:The Company is seeking to recruit an R&D Juices & Beverages Manager reporting to CCH R&D Manager. The position is responsible for provision of R&D Services (Lab analytical testing, New Product Development, Legal Compliance) to Brand Marketing and Supply Chain teams to maintain taste superiority, cost competitiveness and legal compliance.ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?

University degree in chemical engineering, chemistry or food science
MSc in Food Science/ Food Technology
At least 7 years' experience in similar position in a food company
Good analytical lab skills, ideally in Juices and Beverages area
Good knowledge of food ingredient suppliers & flavour houses is an asset
Good knowledge of New Product Development (NPD) and Scientific Regulatory Affairs (SRA) area
Fluent in Greek & English
MS - Office
Available to travel

YOUR NEW KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Implement NPD activities and R&D routines for yearly Innovation pipeline with brand Marketing and SC teams (Procurement, Planning, QSE etc.) according to cost, time & quality agreed
Build strong cross-functional relationships with respective SC teams and toll-filler(s) for scale-up and industrialization of new products (e.g. pre-launch productions, shelf-life stability, formula legal clearance, post-launch review) with Quality by Design (QxD) approach
Collaborate closely & efficiently with ingredient suppliers to source RMs for formula development, lab prototype creation & recipe cogs estimation
Ensure legal compliance of formula ingredients with flavour houses support for product roll-out in EU & non-EU countries
Issue & communicate to respective SC teams, all documents needed (technical specs, MMIs etc) for any new product launch and/or reformulation
Maintain existing Juices & Beverages portfolio (ingredients, formulations, MMIs, technical specs etc). Coordinate the product evaluation process with external agency for market samples collection & quality testing
Organize the sampling preparation & distribution process with flavour houses support for market research purpose
Identify and implement opportunities in areas of raw materials (RMs), formulations and processes to mitigate risk from RM cost increase and/or unavailability
Organize Innovation meetings (annually/biannually) with flavor houses support and respective brand Marketing teams to share key insights, product & market trends to facilitate long term NPD planning
Be passionate for opportunities to build own R&D technical capabilities in other product categories such as Alcoholic Spirits & Flavoured Water Drinks
