Serve as a technical specialist for a portfolio of applications in the delivery of sophisticated concepts, principles, and methods.
Be responsible for detailed solution design of application components and interfaces between internal and external applications.
Select appropriate methods for collecting and analyzing data and develop informed recommendations that shape or support the customer experience strategy.
Mentor a team of engineers to deliver high-quality solutions, provide technical guidance and collaborate with others, to achieve a superior client experience.
Understand how business functions operate and how sector trends impact a client's business. Apply a global and diverse perspective to problem solving.
Organize insights and define a logical flow to tell a story when presenting recommendations.
Design, develop and share reusable assets that can be readily applied to new projects.
Design and develop robust, scalable, impactful production applications.
Review and recommend improvements to existing system designs and engineering processes.
Perform quality checks on processes and delivered project artefacts.
Contribute to incremental upgrades and timely integration of application code changes and testing.
Act as "main point of contact" for junior members

Qualifications:Qualifications

At least 5 years of relevant experience in a senior technical role with exposure to Java, preferably 1.8+ and Object-Oriented programming
Relevant experience developing web services, web service API's, as well as implementing code to consume existing API's
Guru of project and software lifecycles, with understanding of project lifecycle methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall and CI/CD
Solid understanding and exposure to both SQL & NoSQL Database technologies.
Strong communications skills with the ability to cooperate with both executives and technical staff in Greek and English
Familiarity with Integration patterns with Backend systems.
Hands on experience with Apache Camel, Camunda, Jenkins, Kubernetes
