Departure: end of OctoberPosition: BaristaThe barista is the face of excellent customer service and patient care.
In charge of multiple tasks, this role contributes to the overall the hotel/Apartments vision by providing a welcoming, efficient and knowledgeable first impression when guests are enjoying their morning coffee or drinks by the pool. This position excels in providing high quality drinks, heartwarming hospitality and excellence in team work.Company: Hotel ApartmentsSituated in the famous resort of Sidari on the North coast of Corfu. Just 200m from the Canal D' Amour Beach and 250m from Sidari main beach.Responsibilities
- Greets guests and efficiently determines their needs and preferences
- Serves coffee/cocktails/beverages by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques
- Answers customer questions regarding coffee blends, cocktail ingredients, preparation, etc. in a courteous and professional manner
- Maintains inventories by replenishing supplies; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining miscellaneous food item supplies
- Ensures equipment functionality by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; performing preventive maintenance; reporting maintenance needs
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations
- Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; recommending new menu items; maintaining and improving the appearance of the bar
- Listens to customer complaints and queries, addresses their concerns in an efficient yet polite manner and reports to the manager without delay
- Communicates customer feedback to the manager
- Maintains prompt, efficient service standards
- Contributes to a positive team environment
- Follow Eliamos policies and procedures for providing excellent service standards
- Degree in Tourism or Business Administration desirable
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a barista in a 3*-4* hotel
- Fluency in both English and Greek
- Amicable, well mannered and dedicated to outstanding customer service
- Detail-oriented and passionate about product quality
- Professional guest service skills: helping nature, passion for the guest
- Ability to handle difficult or irate guests effectively; ability to set expectations and deliver required information in a positive way
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic and customer - oriented
- Excellent organization and communication skills with high ability to multitask
- Well-groomed with strong interpersonal skills
