Sidenor Group is a leading steel producer in Southeastern Europe with 4 production units in Greece, Bulgaria and Northern Macedonia.SIDENOR Group's products are available in more than 50 countries with a significant contribution to the economic growth, such as steel reinforcing for building and infrastructure projects, shipbuilding and various other industrial applications.If you want to be part of this large and dynamic organization, Sidenor Group has the opportunity for you!As the H&S Engineer, you will report to the HSE Director, and you will be responsible for the implementation of safety systems and projects with a strong focus on machinery safety. You will support the overall HSE framework of SIDENOR Group by ensuring legal compliance, reducing operational risks, and fostering a robust safety culture across all major plants.What you will need to do:

Lead machinery-related safety projects (e.g., LOTO, interlock systems, guarding)
Contribute to the standardization and continuous improvement of the HSE Management Systems across all sites
Monitor and follow up on the monthly HSE improvement plan
Conduct site inspections, perform risk assessments, and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented safety measures
Develop and deliver safety training programs tailored to the needs of industrial operations
Ensure compliance with Greek and EU legislation, including Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC
Collaborate with plants' H&S teams to implement corrective actions and preventive measures
Prepare reports and recommendations to the HSE Director based on findings from site visits and audits

What you need to possess:

University degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Automation Engineering
Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial Health & Safety roles
Strong knowledge of machinery safety standards, risk assessments, and preventive maintenance
Experience in project management and collaboration across multi-site operations
Excellent knowledge of English language
Willingness to travel frequently to production sites in Greece, North Macedonia, and Bulgaria
