- Own the global tax compliance calendar, tracking deadlines for corporate income tax, VAT/GST, withholding tax, and other statutory filings across all jurisdictions.
- Coordinate with local finance teams and external tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of tax returns.
- Monitor and review changes in local tax legislation in all operating markets and flag potential impacts to the business.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure tax provisions are properly calculated, recorded, and reconciled in accordance with IFRS.
- Assist in managing tax audits and inquiries from local tax authorities, ensuring timely responses and appropriate documentation.
- Review and enhance tax compliance controls and processes, contributing to the development of scalable and automated solutions.
- Ensure transfer pricing compliance, including documentation requirements and intercompany transaction reviews.
- Support the Group Head of Tax in tax risk management, reporting, and planning initiatives.
- Maintain and update internal documentation relating to tax policies, procedures, and obligations.
- Act as a point of contact for tax compliance queries from local and central teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional tax qualification (e.g., ADIT, CPA, ACA, CTA) is a strong plus.
- 5+ years experience in international tax compliance, ideally combining Big 4 firm and in-house multinational tax department.
- Solid understanding of direct and indirect taxes, international tax principles, and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
- Familiarity with IFRS and corporate tax accounting.
- Experience working in a dynamic, high-growth, cross-border environment. Experience in real estate or hospitality industry is a plus.
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets and multiple systems.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
- A reliable, can-do mindset, eager to take ownership and solve problems independently.
