EMS Coordinator Key Role Statement The role of the Energy Monitoring System (EMS) Coordinator is to monitor system performance on a daily basis, detect abnormal conditions due to meter and/or IT connectivity issues, amend and normalize data sequences for all SIG assets. Additionally, the selected candidate should be able to prepare and publish data packages and system reports upon request and serve as the first point of contact with the Software Developer for updates, preventive or corrective maintenance and amendments. Responsibilities: Daily monitors EMS data (energy, water, carbon) upload from all resources for the SIG resorts. Analyzes data to identify trends, patterns, risks and opportunities. Amends measurements and collected data on the preselected time frequency (15mins). Processes and manages faults on the EMS data platform. Performs system maintenance and troubleshooting tasks (CPU performance, unit conversions, kPI calculation issues etc) that arise. Monitors user permission rights for the access to the platform and controls (in collaboration with the IT department) the active registry lists. Serves as the liaison between the SIG ESG department and the Software Developer tech team. Prepares and delivers specific data packages to other team members for further processing. Publishes system reports upon request for all potential stakeholders. Ensures innovation and continuous improvement that involves up-to-date resource management technologies, practices and new features for the EMS platform. Performs database maintenance at the project level. Reports to the ESG Facilities Manager Requirements: Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering. Alternatively, a degree in Math, Computer or Physics Science. Strong background in computer software and hardware. In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop environment. In-depth knowledge of MS Office Suite 2016 or later. Solution-oriented and proactive personality. Good communication skills would be considered an asset.
