Some of the main responsibilities you will have as Reservations Manager are:
  • Handle all daily reservation requests with other reservation assistants while maintaining the in-house reservations systems.
  • Ensure that all areas under your responsibility are running efficiently and in accordance.
  • Be fully knowledgeable in taking requests from guests.
  • Ensure guests receive the highest level of service possible in an efficient, courteous and professional manner.
  • Maximize hotel revenue to achieve or exceed company’s budget and target. Assisting the sales team in setting their rates.
  • Liaising with travel agents
  • Forecasting revenue streams to assist S&M department ensuring that the Departmental Operating Budget is adhered to and that all costs are strictly.
  • Train reservation agents to meet its standard.
  • Applies policy and procedure guidelines to assist Management to solve problems in terms of guest complaints and others .
  • Ensure that all enquiries are answered promptly and do necessary remark /highlight for any specific request.
  • Coordinate with Front Office staff to coordinate a smooth operation.
  • Responsible for facilitating efficient communications for both guests and staff both within the hotel and for external communications.
  • Managing a team effectively.
You need the following qualifications for the position of Reservations Manager:
  • Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or similar.
  • Business English fluently additionally language will be considered as a plus.
  • Knowledge of Reservation PMS, (Protel is an asset)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Professional attitude and appearance.
  • Ability to be proactive when issues arise.
  • Customer service attitude.
