In order to support our rapid growth we are seeking to hire: Cook A Position Summary The Cook A shall ensure the highest standard in food preparation is maintained while training and helping develop the Kitchen team. Scope Reports to Sous Chef Overseeing a section of the Kitchen and ensure that it runs according to performance standards established by the Sous Chef/Executive Chef Organizing and set up the assigned section as efficiently as possible in order to increase speed and maximize productivity Ensuring that all items from that section are prepared consistently and according to standard product specifications Assisting the Sous Chef/Chef de Cuisine in ensuring that all culinary standards in that section comply with Ella Resort’s Policies and Procedures and Minimum standards Monitoring food and operating costs and control these by reducing waste Assisting in maximizing employee morale and productivity Working in any section of the kitchen when necessary or as requested by the Sous Chef/Executive Chef To be familiar with all sections of the kitchen to facilitate the flexible use of employees Requirements: Three or more years working experience in a similar role in 5-star hotels Degree / Diploma in Culinary Good knowledge of English language A second language (French, German, Russian, or Italian) will be considered as a plus Position Attributes Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations Passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service Negotiation and excellent Communication skills Pleasant personality, client oriented Benefits: Accommodation & daily meal Competitive remuneration package Continuous training Career prospects on a transparent working environment Company team events Collaborative working environment Ella Resorts are dedicated in providing exceptional guest experiences across its brand and our amazing Team members are at the heart of it.
