Raycap S.A., a global manufacturer and supplier of electrical protection, connectivity, and power management solutions for telecommunications, energy, transportation, and other industrial markets, seeks to recruitSenior R&D Electrical Engineer in Athens, GreeceThis role involves designing advanced electrical components and systems in accordance with international standards, with a strong emphasis on transient simulation and high-voltage testing.Responsibilities:

Perform advanced transient simulations (LV & MV systems) using specialized software
Support Sales during concept development and technical phases of new product proposals
Conduct electrical testing of components and systems
Apply high-voltage testing methodologies and measurement systems
Develop and maintain detailed product documentation (e.g., electrical diagrams, user manuals)
Serve as the technical point of contact by providing engineering information and responding to inquiries
Contribute proactively to the R&D team's objectives and innovation targets

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα:Required academic background, knowledge and experience:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Power Engineering (M.Sc. degree is a strong asset)
PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred
3-5 years of relevant experience in LV and MV electrical systems and installations
Proficiency in transient simulation tools (e.g., ATP-EMTP, EMTP-RV, PSCAD, PowerFactory)
Familiarity with electrical CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN)
Previous exposure to the power, energy, defense, or industrial automation sectors; experience with surge protective devices and/or surge arresters is an advantage
Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Willingness to travel up to 20%
