At METLEN, we foster a culture of resilience, challenge, respect, excellence, and change, empowering our diverse workforce to achieve remarkable outcomes.We are currently looking for a Chemical Engineer to join our M Circular Metals Division in Thessaloniki, Greece.By joining this role, you'll play a vital role in our company's effort to develop and implement innovative chemical engineering solutions that support sustainable metallurgy and circular economy practices.Your Role Will Encompass

Designing and optimizing chemical processes for metallurgical operations.
Leading technical studies and preparing engineering documentation for process improvements.
Supporting the implementation of new technologies and pilot projects.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, HSE, etc.) to ensure safe and efficient process execution.
Participating in risk assessments and technical evaluations for on-site installations and commissioning phases.
Leading Project Management & Technical Coordination. Development and monitoring of schedules for the implementation of studies and projects, in collaboration with technical teams and the project manager.

What You Bring To The Role

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
5+ years of experience in chemical process engineering, preferably in metallurgy or industrial operations.
Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and engineering simulation tools.
Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and a hands-on approach.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in multidisciplinary environments.
Fluency in English (verbal and written) is necessary, knowledge of a second foreign language is desirable.
Availability for travel within and outside Europe.
