As an Assistant R&D Food Scientist, you will play a vital role in our research and development team. Your contributions are key to our product innovation, quality maintenance, and overall success. You’ll engage in diverse tasks including recipe development, raw material assessment, and involvement in various development projects, thereby ensuring product variety, quality, and efficient R&D operations.Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with the R&D team throughout the recipe development and maintenance process.
  • Define and implement quality parameters for products, actively participating in quality control initiatives.
  • Assess raw materials to maintain the highest quality standards in our products.
  • Engage in both New Product Development and Existing Product Enhancement projects.
  • Provide essential back-office support, including recipe documentation and internal form creation.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology (preferred) or Chemical Engineering, with a focus or experience in the food sector.
  • A relevant postgraduate qualification, particularly from an international institution, is a significant advantage.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the food industry, either in Greece or internationally.
  • Proficiency in recipe management and quality control.
  • Knowledgeable in raw material evaluation and research methodologies.
  • A strong desire to develop skills in new product development and to contribute to team efforts.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Willingness to work in Thebes, with availability for commuting.
