ValueSync is looking for a detail-oriented Procurement & Material Demand Planning Executive to join our Client's supply chain team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process and material demand planning to ensure that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with various teams to analyze inventory levels, forecast material needs, and develop purchasing strategies that align with our business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers. Analyze inventory levels and material requirements to forecast demand accurately.
Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely availability of materials.
Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to achieve favorable terms.
Collaborate with operations and production teams to align material needs with scheduling and capacity planning.
Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring compliance with agreed-upon standards.
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and prepare reports on purchasing performance and trends.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience in procurement and material demand planning is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Excel.
