- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase market share and revenue within the US leisure travel market, monitoring and dynamically adjusting strategies based on emerging trends and opportunities.
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key US-based leisure travel agencies, tour operators, consortia, and other relevant partners, focusing on the unique demands and opportunities of the US market.
- Manage the US sales territory with precision, maintaining detailed records of sales activities and ensuring timely reporting in alignment with company standards.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless guest experience from booking through departure, specifically tailored to the US clientele.
- Achieve and exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) specific to the US market, with a focus on metrics that drive regional sales performance.
- Comprehensive sales knowledge of hospitality sector in local market and the designated market segments (USA/Canada)
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and targets.
- Flexibility to adjust to the changing needs of the business, taking on new ideas, initiatives and responsibilities as they present themselves.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with people at all levels and from all backgrounds and parts of the world.
- Works with a high level of accountability, results orientated and dependable.
- College/University Degree or equivalent experience, ideally within a hospitality, marketing or commercial discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a management / senior role in leisure sales within the luxury hospitality industry (preferably multi property / international hotel chain headquarters).
- Good experience and knowledge of the FIT, leisure groups especially in USA/Canada.
- Driving license preferred.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
