As a CountryHospitality Lead you will be in charge of:
  • Develop and execute regional hospitality strategy in alignment with company's goals.
  • Provide leadership to guide hospitality department and teams across all departments.
  • Oversee all operations, including hotels, villas, restaurants, and other hospitality services.
  • Monitor and optimize operational efficiency and guest satisfaction, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Implement inventory control and identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue-generating initiatives.
  • Enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty through exceptional customer service and personalized experiences.
  • Implement innovative guest engagement strategies and technologies like company's app and virtual butler.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasting, and financial performance analysis.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue-generating initiatives while implementing inventory control.
  • Lead efforts to expand Sandglass regionally through various strategies, including acquisitions, partnerships, or opening new properties.
  • Assess market opportunities and conduct feasibility studies for expansion projects.
  • Manage and strengthen company's brand identity and standards across all properties and services.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent while fostering a culture of continuous learning and transparency.
  • Set performance goals and provide regular feedback to direct reports.
  • Ensure consistent quality and service standards across all properties and regions.
  • Implement quality control measures and maintain favorable online reviews.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and respond to crises affecting guest safety and reputation.
  • Implement sustainable and responsible practices, aligning with industry best practices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote offerings.
  • Leverage data analytics to improve operational efficiency.
  • Stay updated on technological advancements to incorporate relevant innovations.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership.
  • Communicate performance, challenges, and opportunities effectively.
  • Respond to crises to ensure the safety and well-being of guests and staff while focusing on reputational safeguard.
For the position of Hospitality Lead, the following requirements are requested:
  • Degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Administration or related career preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry
  • 3 years of experience in managerial / leadership positions
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word, PPT, Point of Sale system, reservation system, booking engines, electronic invoicing systems, OTAS
  • Advanced spoken and written English
  • Knowledge of hotel management, budget management, creation and execution, cost control, event
  • Experience of recruiting, training, leading and coaching team members – ie direct or indirect team
  • Understanding of financial KPIs and implications for managing hospitality business
