At Demo SA, one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in injectable facilities, we are looking for a talented Health, Safety and Environment Officer to join our team. This position is based in Athens.Health, Safety and Environment OfficerResponsibilities:

Execute Health and Safety (H&S) strategies according to our business and legal requirements
Promote a H&S work environment to employees and third-party partners
Communicate H&S guidelines through training to our employees
Plan and execute H&S inspections and audits
Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses and propose action plans for future improvement
Report data related to H&S, analyze results on a frequent basis and promote corrective actions.
Ensure that environmental permits are maintained and kept up to date
Coordinate health and industrial hygiene monitoring
Ensures the monitoring of performance indicators for both systems (Environment, Health, and Safety
Supervise, guide, and provide support to the team

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Chemistry
3+ years of experience in a similar role in an industrial company
Ability to efficiently develop and implement health, safety & environmental procedures
Excellent use of MS office
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Teamwork mindset
Analytical and critical thinking, problem solving ability
Resilience and ability to cope with pressure and strict timelines
Required traveling to all sites
