As a Crew Site ManagerYou will hold a managerial role within our Crew Department with responsibility to represent company and manage Site Office’s operations, as well as being responsible for the retention & recruitment of Danaos local talent pool of seafarers. The position is based in Piraeus Office with availability for travelling to Site.As a part of your role, you will:

be responsible for the engagement & retention of local seafarers’ pool
be responsible for managing the recruitment and selection of seafarers to increase local talent pool
be involved in fulfilling company’s strategic targets of Crew Department
act as local representative to the authorities and manages local personnel and Site Office operations
be involved in nomination of seafarers to vessels

RequirementsThe ideal candidate should have

Captain Class A License
Experience in a similar role in Crew Department
Computer literacy, (experience with Danaos Software will be considered as an additional asset)
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
Excellent interpersonal skills and multicultural mindset
Organizational skills & attention to detail
Availability for travelling to Site
