- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, networking.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients using our CRM system.
- Develop customized solutions to meet client transportation needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions for clients.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to maximize revenue.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities, providing insights to management for strategic decision-making.
- Meet or exceed sales targets reporting progress to sales management.
- Identify opportunities for market expansion and new business development within the sea freight sector.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals of our sea freight services.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, conferences, opportunities to enhance brand awareness.
- Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the sea transportation field.
- Strong understanding of transportation logistics, including modes of transportation, routing, freight rates, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Advanced business writing and oral skills both in Greek and English.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Shipping, Logistics or other related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a comparable role, preferably in the supply chain or logistics industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software management
- Valid driver's license
