Raycap S.A., a global manufacturer and supplier of electrical protection, connectivity, and power management solutions for telecommunications, energy, transportation, and other industrial markets, seeks to recruit:Mechanical Engineer - Designer (Athens)ScopeThe Mechanical Engineer - Designer is responsible for designing mechanical and electromechanical products based on customer requirements. The role includes testing, research, and development of manufacturing and assembly methods.Primary Responsibilities

Designs mechanical and electromechanical products based on specifications and operational feedback
Prepares and manages technical documentation, including Bills of Materials
Conducts feasibility and product capability tests
Designs and improves equipment and processes for fabrication, assembly, and installation
Ensures product quality through testing methods and process verification
Compiles technical reports using test data and performance trends
Provides technical support by responding to engineering inquiries
Assists technicians and supports their training on assigned projects
Maintains up-to-date technical knowledge through continuous learning
Supports team and project goals as required

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Polytechnic School); Master's degree is a plus
Prior engineering experience in a machine shop environment is strongly preferred
Minimum of 2 years' experience in mechanical design. Experience with sheet metal and plastic components is a plus
Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD software; SolidWorks preferred
Strong communication and presentation skills
Proficient in MS Office
Fluent in English (oral and written)
Willingness to travel up to 20% of working time
