For our Athens/Argyroupoli office, we are hiring one (1) talented candidate to join our Road Frigo Team. Position Summary: To build, manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and support the day-to-day operations through excellent customer service and attention to detail. This is where you come in: We are currently looking for a Freight Forwarder/Road/Frigo operations to join our Argiroupoli/Athens office. You will serve as the ultimate contact for our customers and guide them through operational flows, while making sure their freight moves efficiently through complex procedures. Our Ideal Person: Experience in Road Frigo operations & some exposure to customs processes / clearance Time management and communication skills. The ability to prioritise and pro-actively deal with challenges and use initiative. Excellent team player In this role, you will have to: Negotiate trucking rates and handle costs. Communicating with the carriers to get the rate requests Arrange the freight and customs releases. (if applies NON EU cargo) Obtain the necessary information truckers, on a daily basis to provide superb customer service. Plan the most appropriate route for a shipment, cost, transit time and security of the cargo. Follow the general guidelines for international trade, handle or follow and other tasks which are related to that shipment. Maintain involvement with the bookings & approve them and depending on the customer requirements, you will get involved with order follow up and cost invoicing approvals.
