Do you have experience in Systems’ and Applications’ Management?Would you like to become a part of the Engineering team of a well-known Greek Bank?ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of our client, is seeking a Middleware Systems Engineer.Our client is a well-known Greek Bank that provides a complete range of banking services and specializes in SMEs, retail banking, e-banking, and capital markets.📌 Location: Athens📍 Working Model: Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)🖋️You will be reporting to the ICT Operations ManagerWhat you will do:As a Middleware Systems Engineer, you will be part of a talented team of engineers that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance, and security, for both Bank’s installed systems and applications, and new projects.Your main responsibilities will be:

Managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure
Installing, configuring, testing and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools including but not limited to IIS, WebSphere, Tibco, Docker, Elastic, Azure cloud, SQL Server, Dynatrace, BSM, ADX etc
Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
Troubleshooting, identifying problems and providing technical solutions
Maintaining security, backup, and redundancy strategies
Liaising with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
Participating and deploying new projects in both Windows and Linux environments
Availability to participate in rotational call support for critical issues

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any other related field
3+ years of proven experience in the information technology sector
Good experience in installing, configuring, troubleshooting and administering Windows Servers and especially IIS webservers
Experience with Virtualization solutions
Experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration and scripting
Experience with Microsoft Azure Administration
Familiarity with basic networking protocols principals and configuration in both Windows and Linux environments
Good command of the Greek and English language (both verbal and written)
Team spirit with problem-solving skills and ability to learn, adapt, communicate effectively

Any experience in the following will be considered an asset:

Tibco middleware family (BW, EMS, adapters) administration and configuration skills
IBM WebSphere family, administration, and configuration skills
DevOps Essentials skills (Git, Docker)
EM tool technologies (e.g., SolarWinds, Dynatrace, and HP BSM)
