- Present thecompany and make proposals and other external sales presentations toprospective customers to explain, negotiate and promote hotel and banquet sales
- Handlesales accounts, compose Banquet event proposals
- Work withthe Chef and Hotel Manager to determine selling prices and menus for events,establish goals and help develop banquet sales budgets
- Prepare detailed banquet eventorders (BEOs) and ensure all event details are communicated effectively
- Oversee event setup, execution,and breakdown to ensure client satisfaction
- Ensuresatisfaction by communicating with the client throughout the event regardingany changes, substitutions or special requests; assisting banquet staffthroughout the event as needed (refilling drinks, delivering food, bussingtables, etc.); follow up with event host at the conclusion of the event
- Conduct sales calls, sitevisits, and presentations to showcase banquet facilities and services
- Prepare and negotiate eventproposals and contracts, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction
- Maintain an updated database ofpotential and existing clients
- Collaborate with the marketingteam to create promotional campaigns for banquet sales
- Conductsite inspection of the property with new or existing partners, show rooms,banquet facilities, and all other hotel facilities for business meetings orspecial events
- Build andpromote strong, long lasting customer relationships; maintain and develop goodrelations with existing partners, agents, companies and regular individualguests
- Implement activities appointedby the Director of Sales and Marketing concerning key accounts
- Cooperate with reservationsdepartment and coordinate sales operations with other departments; prepare andmaintain any required documentation
- Prepare sales reports,forecasts, and event performance analysis
- Manage event deposits,invoicing, and payment follow-ups
- Bachelor's degree inHospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Excellentknowledge of Greek and English language
- Availabilityto travel
- Strongbusiness sense and industry expertise, excellent communication skills
- Must behighly organized, efficient and detail-oriented, focused on accomplishing highquality results
