Your Role:
- Collect functional and non-functional data along with solution requirements.
- Formulate the Data Model.
- Involve in the complete development life cycle of data transformation, encompassing design, development, testing, and deployment phases.
- Take part in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines to ensure efficient processing and analysis of data.
- Contribute to defining, preparing, executing, and resolving issues during testing across all testing phases including Unit Tests, System Tests (ST), Integration Tests (SIT), User Acceptance Tests (UAT), and Performance Tests (Perf).
Technical qualifications:
- At least 3 years of practical data engineering experience in real-world projects encompassing such as: Data Management, Data Ingestion, Data Storage methodologies, Data Workflow design and scheduling, Implementation of Data Modeling techniques, including Entity-Relationship (ER) models, Utilization of Business Intelligence or statistical analysis tools and techniques.
- Additional experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud (GC) is preferred.
- Practical familiarity with cloud-based data management platforms like Snowflake and Synapse is preferable.
- Previous involvement in Data Migration initiatives would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with various testing methodologies, strategies, and tools applicable to data projects is beneficial.
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required.
- Proactive and results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to effectively collaborate within a team in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Proficiency in managing tasks within large-scale projects.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Capability to articulate technical concepts to business stakeholders or clients.
- Advanced technical writing proficiency in both Greek and English.
