As an R&D Project Coordinator, you will collaborate directly with the Head of Innovation on EU-funded R&D projects. Your responsibilities will include:

Lead the day-to-day coordination and execution of R&D initiatives under Horizon Europe
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project requirements and align objectives
Manage the seamless integration of diverse projects spanning AI and energy management domains
Identify and evaluate risks inherent in Horizon Europe projects related to energy and AI
Develop and enact strategies to mitigate project risks, ensuring successful outcomes
Establish and enforce quality control protocols to ensure timely delivery of high-caliber results
Conduct regular assessments to monitor project performance and drive improvements
Maintain comprehensive project records and documentation for reference and compliance purposes
Contribute to the formulation of R&D proposals for EU funding mechanisms, focusing on areas such as demand response, data analytics, and AProvide technical expertise in setting up proposals, leveraging knowledge in software engineering and energy solutions

In order for your profile to match the R&D Project Coordinator position, you need to have:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering or a related field
Relevant experience in Management of R&D Projects funded by the European Commission
Relevant experience in preparing and submitting Research & Development proposals for funding under Horizon2020, Horizon Europe, etc

The following will be considered as an asset:

Familiarity with developing comprehensive project plans for the integration of different technologies and disciplines, e.g. software engineering, energy solutions, etc
Understanding of state-of-the-art software engineering (e.g., AI algorithms) and energy management (e.g., demand response) concepts
Involvement in setting-up Horizon Europe proposals

Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective communication across diverse stakeholder groups
Ability to establish and nurture relationships with both technical and non-technical teams
Demonstrated track record of meeting strict project deadlines
Proactive and self-motivated, with a commitment to staying updated on technological advancements
Command of the Greek and English language, both oral and written
