- Industrial Process: (Revenue of $1.4B; headcount of ~3,400; operates in 30 countries) manufactures engineered fluid process equipment serving a diversified mix of customers in global industries such as chemical, energy, mining, and other industrial process markets and is a provider of plant optimization and efficiency solutions and aftermarket services and parts.
- Connect and Control Technologies: (Revenue of $0.8B; headcount of ~ 3,800; operates in 10 countries) manufactures harsh-environment connector solutions, critical energy absorption, flow control components, and composite materials for the aerospace and defense, general industrial, medical, and energy markets.
- Configuration Management & Functional Analysis: Set up and maintain software configurations, including user interfaces and system functionalities (50% of the working time will be related to this responsibility).
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams. Facilitate workshops, demos, and status meetings. Manage change requests and prioritize enhancements.
- Design and Implementation: Design screens, buttons, configure actions and rules to meet business requirements and enhance user experience.
- Testing: Develop, implement, and execute test plans and scenarios to validate configurations and development, ensuring successful deliverables.
- Documentation: Create and update documentation related to software configurations, functional design specifications, user guides and change logs.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve configuration-related issues to ensure smooth operation of software applications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other business and IT stakeholders to ensure the final product aligns with the functional design specifications and customer requirements.
- Change Management: Systematically manage, organize, and control changes in software products throughout their development lifecycle to ensure consistency, reliability, and maintainability.
- User Training: Train end-users and create user guides or training materials. Provide post-deployment support and gather feedback for improvements. Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Information Technology or Business Administration degree preferred
- 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst actively participating in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering and refinement, solution design, and user acceptance testing.
- 7+ years of overall experience in software development projects, with active involvement, showing a well-rounded background in the sector.
- Proven background in Functional or Enterprise System Administration on highly configurable enterprise platforms (e.g., BPM, CRM, ESM), particularly in roles involving the adaptation of systems to meet business needs.
- Experience in developing Business Process Management tools / frameworks is highly desired.
- Experience in project coordination, actively supporting planning, tracking, and stakeholder engagement, will be considered a strong asset.
- Diverse experience working with various business operations or functions will be highly valued
- Experience in Service Delivery Model implementation and maintenance is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze problems, think strategically, and find creative solutions.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and timelines.
- Strong decision-making skills in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent analytical and planning skills, with proficiency in software development / configuration environments.
- Proven business and systems analysis skills, along with expertise in test planning, execution, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in requirements analysis and refinement , use case documentation, and modeling tools such as MS Visio or Draw.io for visualizing business processes and system interactions.
- Ability to develop and maintain project-related documents, such as Scope, Functional Design, Requirements Traceability Matrices, work instructions, training materials and user guides.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical and business concepts clearly to stakeholders.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and escalate risks/issues when necessary.
- Ability to understand and align with the company’s business processes, backed by strong analytical and technical acumen.
- Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work across different IT departments.
