- Be the main point of contact for the OSS community, by answering questions, encouraging discussion, and fostering an inclusive, supportive atmosphere
- Launch and manage community initiatives like…. forums, newsletters
- Interact with users across platforms (Discord, Reddit, forums, social media)
- Develop and schedule content such as developer diaries, updates, user spotlights, and rewards
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align content and ensure brand consistency
- Respond promptly and professionally to community comments and feedback
- Plan and host online and offline events, such as beta tests, Q&As with developers, competitions, meetups
- Gather and report community feedback and engagement metrics
- Provide insights to the development team and report user needs internally
- Monitor sentiment and trends across channels
- 2+ years of experience as a Community Manager (ideally in tech or OSS)
- Proven success growing and managing online communities
- Deep understanding of online communities, culture and trends
- Familiarity with Open Source Software culture and models
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Hands-on experience with tools like Discord, Github, Hootsuite, and analytics platforms
- Content creation skills, including basic graphic design, video editing, or copywriting
- Direct experience managing an OSS community will be considered a plus
- Experience with software development (coding, testing, design etc)
- Must be able to work for a Greek Company - Owns a Greek VAT number
- Military service completed
