Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens opened in March 2019 and provides a preferred address for both business and leisure travelers, and the highly personalized, anticipatory service that Four Seasons guests expect and value around the world. The Arion Hotel was built in 1967 and has 106 keys and 61 Bungalows, and the Nafsika opened in 1980 and has 136 keys. Under the same ownership is a large private beach club and marina. Nafsika is open through the year, while Arion and the bungalows operate eight months of the year. Adding to the complement of on-site F&B operations (8 Restaurants and Bars), there are also two third party restaurants on site.About the Role
At Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of IT to lead all technology systems and infrastructure at the property. This senior leadership role is essential in ensuring the efficient operation, security, and advancement of IT systems that support our luxury guest experience and business objectives.You will be responsible for managing and maintaining all hotel technology, forecasting IT needs, executing systems strategies, and driving technology initiatives that improve operational effectiveness and guest satisfaction.What You Will DoDevelop and implement comprehensive IT strategies aligned with hotel goals, ensuring robust and secure technology infrastructure.Manage all critical hotel systems including Property Management System (PMS), Call Accounting, HSIA, PABX, POS, and back-office applications.Lead IT projects and system upgrades, collaborating with corporate teams and vendors to deliver seamless technology solutions.Ensure 24/7 availability and reliability of IT services to support hotel operations and guest needs.Establish and maintain system security protocols consistent with corporate policies.Oversee IT budget, contracts, and vendor relationships to optimize cost-efficiency and service quality.Provide leadership and support to the IT team, fostering a collaborative and service-oriented environment.Participate in regional IT meetings, sharing best practices and innovation initiatives.What You BringUniversity degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel IT management, with at least 2 years in a Director of IT role.Proven expertise in hospitality technology systems such as Opera PMS, HSIA, POS, and network infrastructure.Strong project management skills and experience implementing IT upgrades and new systems.Solid knowledge of network security, server infrastructure, Active Directory, and backup solutions.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment.What We OfferCompetitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.Employee meals, laundry services, and Ticket Restaurant monthly allowance of €100.Access to Four Seasons global training, development, and travel programs.Opportunity to lead IT operations at a world-class luxury resort and make a meaningful impact.Join Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens as our Director of IT and drive technology excellence that supports exceptional guest experiences and operational success.
