We are continuously growing, and we are looking for a Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer to join our UniQue Modern Workplace & Cloud Services team, part of our ICT Services Technical Division.Our UniQue people come from a variety of different backgrounds and industries, with different skillsets and approaches, but they have one thing in common: passion for technology and innovation!For the Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer position we expect you to:

Be involved in designing, implementing, optimizing, and support of complex infrastructure based on Citrix technologies
Provide remote & on-site administration and maintenance of customer’s Citrix infrastructure
Deploy and manage Citrix, Microsoft VDI environments, ensuring seamless integration with other IT systems to enhance user experience and productivity
Install and configure Microsoft AVD technologies including host pools AVD images and scaling
Manage Azure Active Directory for Azure Virtual Desktop related systems
Be involved in problem resolution – case investigation – case escalation
Perform regular updates, patches, and upgrades to VDI infrastructure
Generate reports on VDI performance, usage, and issues for management

RequirementsYour experience, skillset and qualifications are going to help you succeed in this position, moving forward.

University/College degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other relative discipline
3+ years of proven working experience in a similar role in Citrix & Microsoft VDI environments
Familiarity with Cloud concepts
Knowledge of the following areas is highly preferred:

· Microsoft Server & Client Operating Systems· Implementation experience on Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops· Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Cloud Service· Building and troubleshooting MS Supporting Services (DFS, DHCP, CA, IIS) in large environments· Active Directory & GPOs in large environments· Scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, VB, etc.· Microsoft HyperV, VMware ESXi, Citrix Hypervisor (XenServer)

Deep knowledge and understanding of Azure Virtual Desktop Solution:

· AVD Business requirements gathering & Deployment

Strong analytical, design and problem-solving skills
Effective communication skills to work with various business stakeholders
Excellent use of English language (verbal & written)
Flexibility to travel abroad (mainly EU countries, 5% of the working time)
