- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal IT support, addressing issues with computer systems, hardware, software, and networks, both on-site and remotely.
- Perform regular maintenance and monitoring of company IT equipment to ensure optimal functionality in both the office and remote environments.
- Manage IT inventory, track equipment status, and assist in maintaining detailed records of hardware and software assets.
- Prepare, format, and configure laptops and other devices for new staff members, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary applications and security protocols for both in-office and remote work.
- Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software; diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Install and connect various IT hardware such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and other peripherals, ensuring proper configuration and functionality.
- Provide guidance and support for non-technical staff, including training on company systems and remote work tools.
- Collaborate with external vendors and IT service providers as needed.
- Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist, particularly in internal staff support and equipment maintenance, in both in-office and remote settings.
- Comprehensive knowledge of operating systems including Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office applications and the ability to provide support on these tools.
- Troubleshooting skills across various technology platforms.
- Communication and interpersonal abilities, suitable for both in-person and virtual communication.
- Experience with hardware and software installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of remote troubleshooting techniques and network security practices.
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Optional: Familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions, Microsoft Azure & Intune, and Apple Business Manager.
