Linen & Laundry Supervisor

• Assist in managing the daily operations of the linen and laundry services, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and adherence to quality control standards.
• Oversee all stages of linen processing, including sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and folding of hotel linens and staff uniforms, ensuring optimal cleanliness and presentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for all linens, uniforms, and laundry supplies; monitor usage levels and coordinate timely reordering in line with operational needs.
• Train, supervise, and support laundry staff to ensure compliance with hotel procedures, brand standards, and service expectations.
• Regularly inspect the condition of all laundered items and promptly report any damages or replacement needs to the Housekeeping Manager.
• Enforce strict compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations, ensuring a clean, organized, and hazard-free working environment.
• Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team to support efficient room turnovers and timely availability of clean linens for guest rooms and public areas.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, functionality, and safety of laundry equipment in coordination with the Engineering Department.
• Liaise with vendors and external laundry services when required, ensuring consistency and cost control.
• Prepare and maintain departmental reports including usage, productivity, and damage reports.

• Minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or high-end laundry service.
• Strong understanding of linen and laundry operations, including washing techniques and materials.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills in both Greek and English.
• Ability to lead a team and train staff in linen and laundry procedures.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices related to laundry operations.
