As an industry leader, Chubb is an employer of choice for skilled technology professionals aspiring to develop a meaningful career in a fast-paced, diverse company with offices in most major cities in the world.OverviewThe Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing existing business processes and systems, eliciting and documenting business requirements, identifying gaps and inefficiencies, proposing solutions, and implementing changes that improve the company's operational performance. The incumbent must ensure that all business systems and processes are aligned with the company's goals, strategies, and objectives.Responsibilities
  • Analyse, document, and validate business requirements using standard templates or tools. Jira Experience is preferable.
  • Develop functional specifications and user stories based on business requirements.
  • Identify gaps in existing systems & processes and provide recommendations for platform/ process improvement.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including business users, technical teams, and project managers to resolve issues or conflicts.
  • Analyse the interactions across applications/ systems to achieve the target process and document the interface specifications.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to ensure that requirements are implemented correctly and meet stakeholder expectations.
  • Work closely with the Engineering teams in translating business requirements to functional and technical design.
  • Involvement in the System Testing & UAT Testing of the new systems or processes to ensure that they meet business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge base of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to business analysis.
Qualifications:Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a business analyst in a corporate setting. Experience in Insurance industry is preferable.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of business analysis tools and methodologies - Jira experience is advantageous.
  • Experience in Agile and/or Scrum methodologies is preferred.
The Business Analyst may work in a corporate office environment, often in collaboration with other team members, stakeholders, or vendors.
