Health Safety Environment Engineer

• Develop, implement, and monitor the HSE management system for the Skouries Project site.
• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and audits to ensure compliance with legal, corporate, and client HSE requirements.
• Investigate incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions; ensure timely reporting and implementation of corrective actions.
• Prepare and deliver HSE training sessions and toolbox talks for site personnel and subcontractors.
• Maintain and update all HSE documentation, including site safety plans, method statements, permits, and reports.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and site teams to integrate HSE best practices into daily operations.
• Serve as the primary contact for HSE matters with clients, authorities, and regulatory bodies.

• Greek citizenship.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Good knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Medior level: Over 3 years of experience in HSE roles within the construction sector.
• Senior level: 7+ years of experience with proven leadership in HSE management for large-scale projects.
• Thorough understanding of national and international HSE legislation, standards, and best practices.
• Experience in civil, infrastructure, or industrial construction environments.
• Strong communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO 45001, ISO 14001) are highly desirable.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Willingness to travel and be present on-site in Chalkidiki; valid driver's license required.
